Ways To Make Cardio More Enjoyable









Doing cardio can be a particularly boring activity, here are a few ways to make the time go faster.


  • Watching a new show or movie- A way to make walking on a treadmill or using an elliptical, or riding an exercise bike more enjoyable is to make an agreement to watch a show or movie only during cardio that way you look forward to the next cardio session.

  • Walk or ride bike outside- Doing something enjoyable outside in great weather can be a much more enjoyable cardio exercise experience and can make the time go by faster.

  • Reading a book- If balance is not a concern, reading a book while on a treadmill or elliptical can be a great way to pass the time and make the exercise enjoyable. If balance is a concern then a stationary bike is a great way to read and enjoy cardio exercise.

  • Play a game- Playing a game on your tablet or smart phone can make the time go by much faster and make cardio enjoyable.
